uniting casuals
It has been my thoughts lately that as casuals we are sprinkled throughout the system with little unity. Often there is no sense of belonging when you are here and there without continuity. Ideally this is a great resource for casuals to share knowledge and experiences but possibly more important so, it is a place to come together.

@Peter - re Casual teacher support.
We are building towards becoming the place for casual teacher support in NSW, if not Australia.
With over 30,000 non-permanent teachers in NSW they are a huge group of employees are do not have easy access to accreditation opportunities, resources or collaborative help from other teachers.
In 2013 we aim to change this. Stay tuned.

It is worth a visit with periodic members giveaways and cheap supporting resources.
More geared to primary but still valuable in secondary teaching
